As in the case of the automotive market, brand loyalty was often generational to a fault. Just like the Big 3 vehicle manufacturers, the current Big 3 political parties (Liberal, Conservative, NDP) have irredeemably lost their way. Progressive policies have been embraced to a point that none of our mainstream parties are prepared to stand up for Canada, our history, our traditions, or our values.
We all know the Conservative Party of Canada and its leader, Erin O’Toole, have left true conservatism behind. They have either expelled MP’s who support traditional conservative values or have isolated them within the party. The undeniable fact is that a vote for the CPC is no longer a vote for traditional conservatism.
In Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke it is time to switch brands to the Peoples Party of Canada and hire a new driver. Here’s why:
- Our current member has held office for over 20 years and on that basis alone we need to hit the refresh button and hire someone with new ideas, a revitalized approach with a refreshing and inclusive operating style.
- The CPC has demonstrated it is no longer a true conservative party. It is, in fact, liberal-lite at the expense of long-term supporters, rural voters, and western Canadians. This is not good for Canada or Renfrew County.
- Identity politics, in combination with the endless crusades of the social justice movement, are destroying the social fabric of this country. The Liberals have led this so-called ‘progressive’ charge and the CPC has fallen into line. The question arises who is left to stand up for Canadians? This much is certain – it won’t be the CPC.
- A federal election is anticipated for this October. The time to act is now.
The Peoples Party of Canada is the only option for citizens who consider themselves conservative but politically homeless.
